LaunchReel AI / FAQ

LaunchReel AI, question by question

LaunchReel AI makes product launch videos from a website URL: our Claude Opus 5.5 writing desk reads the site and writes the brief and the storyboard, and a code-based rendering engine draws the film from your real screens. These are the questions people ask before their first film, answered from our own docs and pricing.

No email and no card to start. The brief, the storyboard and the first cut follow by themselves; we ask for an email only when you want the film kept, downloaded or changed.

Pricing

What is free?

The first project on an email: the brief, the storyboard, the 5-second ad, the preview of the full film on request, and a 720p copy with a small corner badge that is yours to keep. No card. The brief and the storyboard do not even need an email.

What do the packs cost?

Starter 20 credits $9, Launch 100 $25, Growth 220 $50, Studio 480 $100, Agency 1000 $200. One-time payments in US dollars; sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies. Credits never expire and nothing renews. See pricing.

What does a credit buy?

A shot change after the 3 included ones: 1. Going back to an earlier version of a shot: 1. Rewriting the whole storyboard: 5. Another product on the same email: 5. A clean 1080p export: 10. A 4K export: 20. One clean short cut: 6, a trio 12, all twelve 24, the film plus all twelve 28.

Why is there no subscription?

Because you pay only when you change or export. Launches are occasional, so a monthly fee would mostly charge you for months you do not launch. Packs are one-time, credits never expire, and you buy again when you run out.

Can I get a refund?

A full refund of a pack on request until you download a clean export, no questions asked, including any tax. After a clean export has been downloaded, packs are not refundable. If we cannot make your video at all, any pack bought for it is refunded in full. See the refund policy.

Time

How long does the first film take?

The 5-second ad is ready about 4 minutes after you submit a site. The full film, about 30 seconds, is drawn only when you ask for it and takes about 2 minutes more. A Stage version takes about 5 minutes. If the render machine is offline or the queue is slow, the page says so and we email you when the preview is ready.

What happens while I wait?

The waiting screen fills in as the work lands: six answers about your product with their source pages, then the brief, then the storyboard. You can correct any of them before the film is drawn.

How fast is a change?

A chat edit rewrites one shot and redraws only that shot; the rest of the film is untouched, so a change does not restart the film. The Stage version redraws the whole film and takes about 5 minutes.

Formats

What formats do I get?

The full film is about 30 seconds, a 16:9 MP4: 1920×1080 clean, or 3840×2160 in 4K, drawn at 4K rather than upscaled. Captions are burned in and an .srt file comes with every clean file. The free copy is 720p with a small badge.

Is there a 9:16 or 1:1 version?

Yes, as short cuts: 5, 6, 8 or 10 seconds, one line, one picture and your name, in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1. The 9:16 cut keeps clear the areas where Reels, TikTok and Shorts draw their own name, captions and buttons. The full film itself is 16:9.

Is there sound?

Not yet. The film is silent: the key lines come on screen as animated text timed to reading speed, and captions are burned in. AI music is coming soon, and so is a voice-over.

What does the badge on the free copy look like?

A small corner badge, plus a one-second end card with your domain. It is the same film as the preview, at 720p. The paid 1080p and 4K files have no badge.

Edits and looks

How do edits work?

After the preview, a timeline of shots sits next to a chat. Describe the change in plain words and only that shot is rewritten and redrawn. The first 3 small changes on a film are included; after that a shot change is 1 credit, taken only when the change lands and refunded if it fails. Questions are free.

Can I change the whole film?

Yes. Rewriting the whole storyboard is 5 credits. Changing the look (colours, type, stage, mood) re-renders the film and counts as a small change; looking at other looks is free. Every version of every shot is kept, so you can go back.

What is the Stage look?

A dark, cinematic version of your film: one light, your real screenshots lit in a dark room, or type and light alone if there are no screens. It is free to try, takes about 5 minutes, and the film you already have stays until it is ready; you can switch between the two.

Can I edit the words myself?

Yes. The storyboard shows each shot's words, and you can change a line directly before the film is drawn, or by chat afterwards. A direct edit in the storyboard counts as a small change like a chat edit.

Your site and your data

What can I paste?

A website address, a GitHub repository, a sentence about the product or just its name (we look for the site), a .zip of up to 50 MB, and up to 6 pictures: screenshots, a logo, colours, a look you like or a sketch. What you type is screened by a safety check first.

Which pages do you read?

The home page and up to three inner pages such as pricing, features, product or docs, plus the site's own images and stylesheets for the accent colour. We identify ourselves as LaunchReelBot, honour robots.txt, stop at 2 MB and 10 seconds per page, and never fetch private addresses.

Is my site's content used to train models?

No. We do not sell your data and do not use your content or your video to train models. The AI model providers we use receive the public content you pointed us to, not your payment details. Screenshots and fetched pages are kept while your project exists; email support@launchreel.ai to delete a project and every file made for it. See the privacy policy.

Who owns the video?

You do. You get full commercial usage rights for the delivered video; the project's source files are not included. Claude and Opus are trademarks of Anthropic, and LaunchReel AI is an independent product not affiliated with Anthropic.

Try it on your own site

Paste your URL. The brief and the storyboard come back for you to check, the first film is free, and the 720p copy is yours to keep. See pricing.
