Privacy policy

What we collect

• Project and credit details: your email, the website URL and optional repository link you give us, your notes, the brief you confirm, the packs you buy, and a ledger of the credits you gain and spend.
• Content we read: we fetch the public web pages and public repository you point us to, and take screenshots of them, to write your brief and make your video. We do not log in to anything and we do not read pages you did not give us.
• Payment: checkout is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We receive the payment status, amount, tax and the email used at checkout.
• Usage analytics: pages viewed, clicks on our buttons, the referring site and campaign tags, screen width, browser language, and your country (derived by our network provider from your connection; we do not store your IP address). A random identifier is kept in your browser's local storage so we can count unique visitors. It is not linked to your identity unless you start a project from the same browser.

Why we use it

• To make your previews and exports, keep your credit balance, and contact you about your projects.
• To take payment and meet tax and accounting obligations.
• To understand which pages help people decide, so we can improve the site.

We do not sell your data and we do not use your content or video to train models.

Who processes it

• Stripe and its affiliate Link, which may act as the reseller for your purchase and handle sales tax, receipts and refunds.
• Our hosting and network providers, which run the servers and database the site uses.
• AI model providers we use to read pages and draft briefs and storyboards. They receive the public content you pointed us to, not your payment details.

How long we keep it

• Screenshots, fetched pages, previews and working files: deleted 90 days after your last activity on a project, or sooner on request.
• Exported videos: kept for 90 days after export so you can re-download them, then deleted.
• Payment records and the credit ledger: kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, and while you have unused credits.
• Analytics events: kept for 13 months.

Your choices

Email hello@launchreel.ai to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. We answer within 30 days. You can clear the analytics identifier at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be emailed to customers with unused credits. See also our terms of service.
